QUESTIONS: Where and by whom are your products made?
ANSWERS: Our Glass dildos are handmade in European glass workshops. These glass workshops have implemented Quality Management System SR EN ISO 9001:2001 and Environmental Management System SR EN ISO 14001:2004.
Our glass dildos are designed and made by a large team, including doctors, engineers, designers and glassblowers. All of them have a very importnat role in each step of the research, the developing and production of our products. We are working with specialists glass blowers which year after year, have produced complex glass laboratory equipment for research institutes and medicine.
QUESTIONS: Comparing adult sex toys, are glass adult toys safe?
ANSWERS: Of course the glass sex toys are safe to use, if not we wouldn’t sell them. Pyrex is a very strong material, but we must remember that it is a type of glass, so dropping it may crack it. Please inspect it if you drop it, as the smallest nick could have effects on your health. As to production testing, we are testing all of our dildos from the very beginning and all the way through production. We are annealing each product at very high temperatures to eliminate internal stresses, and we then let it cool for 24 hours.
The most important Quality Test is the Polariscope Test. The Polariscope is a scientific instrument used to inspect the internal stresses in the dildo. A proper annealed process will show no internal stresses.
QUESTIONS: What can you tell me about the Pyrex borosilicate glass?
ANSWERS: Borosilicate glass is a thermo resistant glass, which is widley used in scientific and medical glass instruments. Since it was discovered, it was used as a glass eye, because of its neutral properties. Unlike normal glass, no chemical reactions happen with acids or bases. Because of the coefficient of linear thermal expansion (ISO 7991) α (20°C; 300°C) is 3.3x10-6 K-1, borosilicate glass is resistant at thermal shocks. Even so we advise you not to put your dildo through very brutal thermal shocks, as it may break. Some brands of borosilicate glass are Pyrex (mainly used in US), Schoott (made in Germany) and Simax (produced in Czech Republic).
QUESTIONS: What is the reason for the relative high price of your adult toys?
ANSWERS: Some companies count only on their glassblowers, but we rely on our whole team of doctors, engineers, designers and glassblowers.
We also have stricter tests for our raw materials, as low guality glass may break in some of the worst times possible. Each piece of glass is heated while the glass is hand formed to the desired shape.
The reasons why the prices of our line of glass dildos are rather more expensive than other glass dildos is because all of our products are the result of our research and development team that works continually to increase the quality and to produce safe dildos.
Our dildos are also 100% manufactured by hand.
When you buy a cheap imitation you take the risk to use unsafe glass dildos in some very sensitive areas. There is no way to obtain a good glass dildo, if all the raw materials are cheap and if the production process is simple.
QUESTIONS: I saw some small marks on the shaft and also some bubbles inside the glass sex toys. What are they?
ANSWERS: The small marks happen inevitably when our products are transported or packed. Sometimes the marks may turn out to be glove marks from handling. If this is the case just wash the dildo in hot water. They do not pose any threat to your health or to the dildo's integrity. It is the same thing as easily scratching a watch's face. During the long production time small bubbles may be caught in the glass dildos, but that again will not pose any threat. When inspecting the dildo, please remember that the bubbles are magnified by the dense and thick glass. Our experience and quality standards allow us to consider safe any dildo with bubbles air less than 1/16-inch diameter. As we said before, all of our products are tested in different stages, so the chances of the bubbles to actualy pose a threat are very small. QUESTIONS: Is it safe to use lubricants with sex toys?
ANSWERS: As our dildos are chemically neutral, lubricants will not affect the composition of glass in any way. Lubricants might also make butt plugs slip in and out easier.
QUESTIONS: What's your reason of not using plastic boxes?
ANSWERS: As we are changing our glass sex toys very fast, it is impossible to ge molds of one design. If you would also take other glass dildos that ome in plastic, you would see some scratches all over dildo. The other reason is that we try to be as green as possible, and plastic takes a lot more trees to be produced and a lot more time to decompose then normal cardboard.
